Think before you speak!

There are a lot of things that people say in everyday conversation that really bother me. I'm not talking about weird or obscure things, those i can handle. What i am talking about is the common phrases that people love to say all the time that make me cringe at the lack of originality and thought they've put into what they have just said. I am hoping that someone out there will get where i am coming from.

Examples:

1- "No offense, but ..."
Just stop right there... if you need to start a sentence with "No offense" then guaranteed you are about to offend the person. Why go through the effort of pretending like that is not your intent? Just accept the fact that your about to be a prick, your not sorry about it, why pretend? Just let it out! Don't throw a half assed semi apology in front of your upcoming insult. Just let er rip.

2- "In my opinion..."
If you have to tell someone that you are about to give them your opinion they more then likely don't give a fuck what it is. Having to announce the subject matter of what you are about to say usually means that your end of the conversation is not of any importance and that you know it. If you didn't know it you wouldn't have to announce that you were about to give "your opinion". No one cares.

3- "Whatev"
First of all that's not even a word! When did it become cool to drop a letter from words? Who is the dip shit who is responsible for this epidemic of rife stupidity? The word is whatever. If your not 15 years old or a cast member of the movie "Clueless" then you have no fucking business saying this fake ass word! There are a lot of real words in the English language. Grow the fuck up and start using them you idiots.

That's just the short list. There are lots of other things that bug me but i have to save something for another post.

"No offense, but in my opinion most people are fucking idiots. Whatev!"
